Temptation...

I've been looking at them,

For a few days now 

And I have to admit, 

The temptation is getting stronger...

Some days 

They sing out to me 

In a sweet song

Unheard before

And somedays

They Whisper quietly 

Telling me 

All of their secrets 

Tonight 

They are telling me 

That they can take me somewhere 

That I will never wish to leave again 

They shout out loud 

These tempting promises 

And today, 

I feel like giving in

I open the bottle 

And lay them out 

These pretty little 

tempting things... 

One by one... 

I count them out.... 

My beautiful 

travel companions 

Take me away 

I say to them 

As I give in 

To temptation...
