I have Unanswered questions
I hold out my arms for Ungiven hugs
I open my mouth to utter Unsaid words
I long for the Unknown joy
I Love you so unconditionally
And Miss you so
But I Can’t remember much
Yet I know the times were good
I see you through the eyes of others
I feel you through the touch of someone else
I wish I had my own memories
To hear the laughter in your voice
To know how much you cared by just a look
To hold your hand and feel safe
To know nobody would ever dare to hurt me cos you are around....
How I wish you were here to dry the tears
To comfort me in grief and smile with me in happiness
How I wish I could rewind the clock....
Keep you away from the moment that took you from us....
Warn you somehow to be careful....
I know you watch over me and guide me somewhat
I know I don’t always listen....
I wish you could tell me face to face
That despite the mistakes I’m still good enough
That I will always be
Your baby girl....
